Overall objectives:

1 - The student will be able to understand the basic principles underlying the operational management of the firm, namely by (i) and (ii)
2 - (i) the undertaking a thorough internal, functional analysis of the firm (as well as an analysis of the firm?s surrounding business setting),
3 - (ii) the use of the models, tools, and techniques usually deployed in the firm's operational problem-solving.

Assesssment methods and criteria:

Classification Type: Quantitativa (0-20)

Evaluation Methodology:
Theoretical and practice classes with texts, slides and spreadsheets, real-life case studies and practical exercises. Presentation and discussion of team works, on programmatic topics that require reading, summarization and implementation of scientific documents. Assessment: Regular season: Written test (50%), evaluation sheets (10%), and assignment (40%); Supplementary and special season: Written test (50%) and assignment (50%).
