The Human Resources Unit of the University of Madeira practice its duties in the domains of human resources management, in the dynamization of training actions that are adequate for its development and reinforcement of competences, in the recruitment and integration of new employees, in the management of mobility and in the processing of remunerations and allowances.
The Human Resources Unit is responsible for: assuring the administrative management of human resources; preparing and instructing administrative processes of human resources; executing activities related to the training and development of human resources; preparing the budget project related to the Human Resources’ expenses; organizing and updating the archives of the processes of the employees of the university; instructing about the recruitment, selection and hiring processes; producing the social report and several internal and external records that are legally required; organizing and monitoring the evaluation process of employee performance.
