Overall objectives:

1 - To know basic aspects necessary to approach the victim of sudden illness or accident;
2 - To know the basic concept of basic life support, survival chain and integrated emergency medical system;
3 - To identify the risks inherent to the condition of rescuer;
4 - To identify emergency situations and act by triggering all essential mechanisms for relief;
5 - To understand the importance of tailoring your approach in different situations to minimize adverse consequences;
6 - To properly execute the rescue techniques in the approach to the victim, according to the scene found (sudden illness or accident).

Syllabus:

1 - Approach to the victim of an accident or sudden illness - Basic Life Support in adults;
2 - Evaluation, collection and recording of patient information and transmission of information;
3 - Approach in: mechanical airway obstruction; burn, electrocution; convulsion; intoxication; wound; trauma; bleeding; insolation;
4 - Constitution of a first aid bag.
