1 - Updating the state-of-the-art for the subject of the Thesis, performing a complete literature search and organizing the methodologies to be developed in the PhD thesis.
2 - To perform preliminary tests and assays to guide the research for the thesis
3 - Developing capacities on data analysis and organization and their public presentation

The work to be developed is essentially autonomous work, monitored in periodic meetings with the advisor(s). At the end of the semester it will be presented publicly before the thesis monitoring committee which will evaluate in terms approved/not approved.
