Overall objectives:
1 - Analyze the concept of Regional Development in the light of the spirit of the European Union;
2 - Deepen knowledge about the relationship between national and local powers in legitimizing transnational democracy;
3 - Understand the role of education in local cohesion and development and in reducing asymmetries between regions;
4 - Develop the technical capacity to create regional development projects, including through European funds and financial instruments, privileging the action of the LAGs and intermediate management bodies;
5 - Understand the investment in the regions as a strengthening of the European identity, without prejudice to the identity dimensions of the communities;
6 - Envision the future of cohesion policy as an act emanating of European solidarity.

Assesssment methods and criteria:
Classification Type: Quantitativa (0-20)
Evaluation Methodology:
Use of active and reflective methodologies. Analytical and sequential model supported by Pedagogy By Objectives. Non-directive model. Dialogic model and Critical model. Cooperative work and the creation of an entrepreneurial project or analysis of micro, meso or macro cohesion policies will be privileged in order to assess reflexive, deductive, discursive skills and the ability to use the mother tongue in its oral and written aspects. The evaluation of student learning, in addition to direct observation of each student's participation in classroom activities, is based on a pre-project for European funding application (50%) and oral defense of the pre-project (50%).
