Biographical Notes

Diogo Freitas completed a Master's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics and Applications in 2020 from the Faculty of Exact Sciences and Engineering of the University of Madeira and a Degree in Computer Engineering in 2017 from the same institution. He is currently a PhD student in Computer Engineering at the Faculty of Exact Sciences and Engineering at the University of Madeira and a researcher at the Interactive Technologies Institute and NOVA LINCS. He has authored several articles in peer-reviewed journals as well as conference articles. His research interests include artificial neural networks and stochastic optimization algorithms.
