Seminar: Sustainable Tourism for regional development
The role that Higher Education Institutions can play for a new and Sustainable Tourism in Europe and its contribution for Regional Development.
The University of Madeira will organize an International Seminar on Tourism on the 10th of May, as part of the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The Seminar entitled Sustainable Tourism for Regional Development will discuss the different perspectives on this matter, bringing together Universities, European Commission and the Tourism and Hospitality Industry, considering three pillars: Sustainable trends, Tourism Management and Sustainable Challenges.
The Seminar "Sustainable Tourism for regional development" will be composed of two panels, one round table, "Conversation with…", and two Keynote speeches.
