Overall objectives:
- To consolidate vocabulary and grammar structures that are essential to an effective communication in English;
- To develop specific language skills, namely reading, speaking, writing, and listening skills.
- To produce oral and written texts;
- To apply the grammar structures studied in context;
- To identify and apply the vocabulary contents seized in context;
- Promote students' self-confidence in the use of English in a work or/and social contexts;
Syllabus:
By having completed this curricular unit, the student is expected to develop skills and attitudes to:
Apply priciples and techniques of clear and assertive communication and positive interpersonal relationships;
Use resourses effectively and efficiently;
Demonstrate the ability to adapt attitudes and communication skills to talk about people, family and communities;
Promote the respective empowerments;
Demonstrate attitudes revealing intercultural sensitivity in different contexts and areas of intervention;
