Overall objectives:
1 - Know and apply the legal requirements in terms of the Promotion of Safety and Health at Work.
2 - Identify and systematize the main advantages in terms of Occupational Health, and know the concepts and techniques for the prevention of occupational risks in terms of the accommodation sector.
3 - Know and apply the legal requirements in terms of Security in local accommodations.
4 - Identify and apply Hygiene procedures in local lodgings.
Syllabus:
1 - Promotion of Safety and Health at Work.
2 - Occupational health (concepts and techniques for the prevention of occupational risks in the housing sector).
3 - Hazard Identification Methodologies and Risk Analysis.
4 - Security at the accommodation level (Fire and Emergency organization) Epidemic and outbreak situations - Contingency plans.
5 - Hygiene and cleaning care for local accommodation.

Evaluation Methodology:
Classification Type: Quantitativa (0-20) Theoretical classes: magisterial classes with following the program defined according to the objectives of the curricular unit. Theoretical-practical classes: tutorials aimed at consolidating knowledge, through active participation of the student in the teaching-learning process: research, critical evaluation, treatment and transmission of scientific information on topics relevant to the curricular unit. Evaluation by ''Continuous evaluation'' (written tests 50%, participation and performance in individual and group projects, 50%) with the possibility of written final exam on the total program, 100%, in case of negative grade in ''Continuous evaluation'' system. The minimal grade allowed is 10.
