Assesssment methods and criteria:
Continuous Assessment: with 75% of mandatory attendance in the actual classes of the curricular unit and with mandatory attendance in classes in which evaluation moments are carried out and in classes previously determined by the teacher: Theoretical Component (40%) - written test (minimum grade required 9.50 points). Practical Component (40%) ? practical test (minimum grade required 9.50 points). Participation (10%) ? attendance, punctuality, uniform and behavior in class. Organization (10%) ? dexterity, arrangement and cleanliness of the bench and workspace. Final exam assessment: Theoretical Component (40%) - written exam (minimum grade required 9.50 points). Practical Component (60%) ? practical exam (minimum grade required 9.50 points). Grades: - The student who obtains a minimum grade of 9.50 in any of the components, theoretical or practical, is exempted from taking an exam, and the grade obtained is considered for this purpose. - In any of the assessment regimes, continuous or by exam, to be successful, the student must, at least, have obtained a minimum grade of 9.50 in the theoretical component and 9.50 in the practical component. - To improve the grade, the student has to perform both components (theory + practice). Thus, the grade improvement is only awarded when the weighted average of both assessment tests performed is higher than the initial grade. - Student workers should contact the teacher to resolve doubts related to mandatory work. - Students who present themselves for practical assessment by exam must contact the professor up to 5 days before the exam date. - In case of suspension of face-to-face contact, by superior determination, the evaluation components can be carried out in the online format.
