Overall objectives:
1 - Apply knowledge and know-how acquired to practical situations and abstract problems, demonstrating attitudes, skills, autonomy and responsibility, during the training at the workplace, when facying with problems related to their professional activity.
2 - Demonstrate the techniques mastery and ability to apply it in the contexts of production and processing of agricultural products in organic farming.
3 - Outline, implement and execute activity and business plans in organic farms or other entities which activity is related with organic agriculture and food processing.
4 - Demonstrate skills and attitudes required for their successful integration in the holdings and host organizations.
Syllabus:
1 - Preparation of the stage work plan, in coordination with the host entity's tutor.
2 - Implementation and fellow up of the activities of stage plan.
3 - Join analysis and discussion of the progress of activities related with stage plan and evaluation of the need to introduce adjustments.
4 - Development of the need to understand and substantiate the tasks and work assigned during the internship, using tutorials and evaluation meetings.
5 - Bibliographic search and analysis of contents related with the stage and the organic farming.
6 - Preparation of the internship report, under supervison of the tutor and advisor.
7 - Exploration and evaluation of the knowledge, know-how, skills and attitudes acquired by the intern, , in the work context of the hosting entity.
8 - Evaluation the training carried out, in the context of work, through the discussion of the internship report.

Assesssment methods and criteria:
Classification Type: Quantitativa (0-20)
Evaluation Methodology:
The methodologies used involve: performing practical or applied tasks; experimentation and development of solutions to specific MPB problems; research and analysis of related bibliographic content, and preparation of the final report. The intern's performance, in the internship will be evaluated by the advisor, after tutor listening, based on the following criteria: a) attendance; b) observation of the hosting entity rules; c) commitment to carrying out the tasks assigned; d) realization of the internship plan; e) skills and aptitudes demonstrated in the implementation of the plan and tasks execution; f) ability to implement in practice the acquired knowledge and skills; g) quality of the internship report; h) theoretical basis of the internship report; i) discussion of the reports contents. The trainee will be evaluated as follows: practical, 50% of the final grade weight (25% defined by the tutor and 25% by the advisor); report and presentation, 50% of the weight in the final grade.
