Overall objectives:

Syllabus:

1 - Clinical evaluation in light of CBT
1.1 - Comprehensive and inclusive clinical assessment techniques
2 - The construction of the therapeutic relationship in CBT: the co-construction of the therapist and client dyad. Understanding the power of the therapeutic alliance: authenticity, empathy, unconditional positive acceptance
2.2 - Therapeutic alliance assessment instruments
3 - Cognitive-behavioral psychological intervention modalities: focused on the present, limited in time and oriented towards problem solving
3.1 - Cognitive-behavioral psychological intervention strategies: psychoeducation; identification of dysfunctional thoughts; self-reflection questions; exhibition techniques; systematic desensitization; relaxation techniques; social skills training; externalization of the problem; thought-stopping and self-instruction training

Evaluation Methodology:
Theoretical classes are for exposition and explanation of the contents of the program using slides and videos. The practical classes aim to instill in students a reflective scientific reading grid of analysis of articles, videos and investigation of theoretical content as well as the practical implementation of some of the concepts exposed in the theoretical classes Products: 1 Prepare a reasoned report about a cognitive behavioral strategy chosen by the student that has been taught in theoretical classes. Each strategy should be developed by a small group (2) Each group presents the theoretical rationale of the technique, the procedure of the technique, underlining the limits and potentialities.
