Overall objectives:

1. - To develop a reflection on intersemiotic intersections between literature and other artistic languages that allow a plural reading about identity, alterity and memory, considering the cultural, literary and socio-historical specificities of Portuguese Literature;
2. - Reflect on the relation between word and image in the context of aesthetic modernity;
3. - Place artistic objects in the flow of memory, revealing them as places of dialogue and difference before tradition;
4. - Provide knowledge, writing techniques and methodological tools to master's students in order to prepare a short-term research work.

Classification Type: Quantitativa (0-20)

Evaluation Methodology:
Classes combine the theoretical components (where the theoretical principles of program content are presented and discussed) and practice (where the student applies the knowledge and exposes his reflections); the theoretical exposition is consolidated with practical work. Critical thinking is practiced and analysis and synthesis activities are carried out, leading to joint discussion, sharing of ideas and reflection. The students construct a research project, presenting a work plan and an academic work. The evaluation will consist of: a) A work plan with bibliography consulted (50%); b) Research work (50%)
