Overall objectives:
0 - The UC Internship will always be carried out within the scope of Hospitality and Catering and Management (50% + 50%) in order to achieve the following objectives in these two areas. The Internship plan to be approved will always contemplate both areas, in the proportion indicated above.
1 - Develop the knowledge and ability to perform independent work in the field of the course.
2 - Get an in-depth knowledge on the specific topic of the internship.
3 - Be able to present and discuss clearly the conclusions of the paper as well as the underlying theory.
4 - Be able to identify new problems and solve them in a critical, independent and innovative way.
5 - Acquire the ability to contribute to applied research, in order to improve and develop activities in the field of Hospitality and Catering and Hotel Management.

1 - Internship development on the approved proposal.

Assesssment methods and criteria:
Classification Type: Quantitativa (0-20)
Evaluation Methodology:
The teaching methodologies will be defined by the advisor, which in general terms include: 1) periodic meetings with the advisor; 2) bibliographic research, both in the form of books and articles, at least in Portuguese and English; 3) use of specific software for the specific area under study. The student develops the proposed project, submits to the University, which will be evaluated by a committee and discussed publicly.
