Overall objectives:
1. - To identify and understand the responsibilities of physical education teachers in organizing curricular activities and school sports;
2. - To analyze and interpret the physical education programs and school sports, according to the school context and create conditions for innovation and change the current routines;
3. - To develop the scientific knowledge on a topic of the course program;
4. - To develop a critical thinking and reflective practice, respecting the ethical and civic values of teaching.

Evaluation Methodology:
The teaching-learning process will consist of lectures, supplemented by theorical-practical classes and laboratory practices. For students to be able to achieve the proposed goals will be encouraging their active participation through dialogue, inquiry and application of knowledge and skills acquired. Texts and documents will be provided to support the content covered. It stimulated the scientific knowledge, working through proposals that call for the search of new bibliographic sources, analysis and interpretation of data and critical thinking. The knowledge and skills will be evaluated in three different ways: evaluation of the continuous work that involves the participation in the classes (10% of the final classification); design and presentation of a group work (40% of the final grade); written test (50% of final grade).
