Evaluation Methodology:
The student is supervised by a professor holding a PhD at the University of Madeira and may have an internal or external co-supervisor. Follow-up is done through weekly meetings. By the end of the first semester the student must present a report describing the development approach for his/her Project/Dissertation. A committee is appointed by the program director and there will be a public presentation to evaluate the proposal. The final assessment is made based on the report (70%) and the presentation (30%), and a final grade is given on a scale from 0 to 20.
