Overall objectives:

1 - To know the operation of wireless sensor networks and its field of action.
2 - To understand the various mechanisms that are part of a system of sensors.
3 - To understand the usual ways of harvesting and storing energy.
4 - To understand and manipulate electrical and fiber optics sensors.
5 - To develop soft skills important for the engineering context

Syllabus:

1 - Wireless sensor systems.
2 - Physical layer.
3 - MAC and link layer protocols
4 - Addressing and time synchronization.
5 - Localization procedures.
6 - Routing.
7 - Energy harvesting systems.
8 - Energy storage.
9 - Sensors electrical of variation of: magnetic field; impedance; electric voltage and current.
10 - Fiber optic sensors for variation of intensity.
11 - Measurement systems of multiple sensors.
