Overall objectives:

1 - To be able to understand the management processes and the organizational structure of sport clubs and fitness organizations (gyms).
2 - To identify specific critical factors, techniques and measures that influence the management and sustainability of sport clubs and gyms.
3 - To understand the social and human value of sport, sporting competition and physical activities as assets promoting the quality of life of clients and athletes.
4 - Justify the relevance of ethics in the management of sport clubs and gyms
5 - To develop scientific research skills, writing and critical reflection analysis.

Assesssment methods and criteria:

Classification Type: Quantitativa (0-20)

Evaluation Methodology:
1. Exposition of the information of the contents with possibility of intervention and clarification of doubts. 2. Development of additional readings on content as a way of deepening knowledge. 3. Active and relevant participation of the students in the classes (20% of the final grade) through the answers to the questions and the application of the knowledge, therefore, a minimum attendance of 75% of the classes is required. 4. Assessment of knowledge through a test (50%), requiring a minimum grade of 9.5 values, to be proficient, and may go the alternative assessment. 5. Research work and report written on program topic, subject to presentation and discussion (30%), evaluated in three distinct phases. This process include; skills to organize the knowledge, interpretation of data, critical reflection and communication.
