1 - Attention/Perception:
1.1 - Definitions and types of attention;
1.1.1 - Visual attention, audition attention and inter-modal attention;
1.1.2 - Focal attention, Selective attention;
1.2 - Different explanatory models of attention;
1.3 - Basic processes depending on the type of perception (Visual, tactile, audition);
1.4 - Models of perception.
2 - Memory:
2.1 - Basic Memory Processes;
2.2 - Memory models: modal model and others;
2.3 - Forgetfulness: decline and interference.
3 - Practical contents:
3.1 - Peripheral vision;
3.2 - Imaging: Kosslyn Model;
3.3 - Formation of impressions;
3.4 - The magic number 7 +/-2;
3.5 - Recognition vs. recall;
3.6 - Semantic memory;
3.7 - Perceptive attitudes;
3.8 - Time of reaction.

Evaluation Methodology:
The curricular unit of Psychology of attention, perception and memory will make use of expository methodologies and expository/interrogative and some active methodologies. Assessment: 1 test (50%), where the ability to integrate theoretical content, theoretical rigor and critical reflection will be evaluated. It will include practical work (50%), to deepen the operation of different perspectives on a theme. In addition to making a presentation to the class, they should be able, with supervision, to prepare a scientific poster about the subject studied. For the frequency there is a minimum of 75% of attendance to the classes.
