Undergraduate Degree in Computer Engineering
Computer Engineering is a teaching area that covers Informatics Engineering and Electronics Engineering. Computer Engineering incorporates science and technology, construction, implementation and maintenance of software and hardware components of current computer systems and computer-controlled equipment. This combination of software and hardware teaching prepares the students for careers that deal with computer systems, from the project to the implementation phase.
Computer Engineering deals with a vast range of products such as communication devices such as smartphones, tablets, medical devices, home automation systems, etc. A computer engineer typically develops computer-based components and systems, integrating software and hardware components, designs computer and device networks for the Internet of Things, develops and tests its prototypes to deliver them to the industry.
Since this is an area of constant expansion and development, the students will be taught not only to develop projects involving e software and hardware, but also to participare in ethical and professional responsibilities, with the aim of becoming autonomous professionals and team leaders.
