Overall objectives:
1 - It is intended to optimize an understanding of the times summoned by the programmatic contents so that the student has, above all, a clear cultural awareness of the present, its complexity, the influences of multiple variants in the construction of Alterity in various cultural encounters throughout the ages. Thus, a general approach to the Past is necessary to understand the Present and to be prepared, in terms of cultural training, to understand the becoming of society and of new intercultural approaches and understandings.

Assesssment methods and criteria:
Classification Type: Quantitativa (0-20)
Evaluation Methodology:
The contents will be subject to periodic evaluation, which intends to test the acquired knowledge, the intellectual autonomy and the critical capacity of the students. They must take a written test: 50% (to be scheduled at the beginning of the semester) and a research paper on one of the 50% program topics. This paper will be presented orally at the end of the semester (oral presentation counts 25%). The final written version of this work goes through the plagiarism detector (the writing of the work counts 25%). In the re-sit exam, students will make a written exam (50%).
